Meatballs

Olivia still insists on calling my nipples meatballs. I wonder what she thinks when she has meatballs for lunch at daycare? At least she understands that she and Daddy have meatballs too.

What is a 2 year old?

I thought I knew what 2 year olds were all about. I've learned I really had no idea. I knew nothing about children except maybe how to change a diaper. I've never understood why parents do what they do. I will never judge again.
I understand now that when Olivia gets in to things it's my fault for not focusing her attention. I sometimes wonder is this where ADD comes from? Do some parents think their toddlers can occupy themselves? If I don't practice with her will her elementary school teachers insist she has ADD? Children have to learn EVERYTHING. Not just how to walk, talk, go potty and eat. I completely understand wanting to get things done and getting angry when your 2 year old won't stop throwing things or climbing things or knocking things off shelves. But it doesn't work. You have to focus their attention and ask them to help or get things done when they're asleep. But I swear, I will never judge. We have to learn just like they do. Thank goodness for those people out there who share their wisdom.
